Get Support
Saint Andrew's is a safe place to get support.
Inclusion, compassion, community, and standing for justice are who we are.
Sunday Service
Sunday mornings are a time to come together in community; to reflect, pray, listen, sing, and practice together. Everyone is welcome as they are.
When we are together, we support each other and lift each other up.
When we sing and make a joyful noise, our hearts and being relax.
When we connect with God, Creator, the Holy One, we find peace.
Worship is Sunday mornings at 10:30am at Saint Andrew's United Church on the corner of Coburg and Robie.
Sunday Suppers
Weekly, free hot meal and basic needs support for anyone facing food scarcity.
Sunday drop-in 4-5:30pm at the Edward St entrance.
Sunday Suppers is currently offering a hybrid model, welcoming guests into the space for a sitdown supper time with community, while also offering takeaway meals to those who do not wish to come inside.

Ineligible expenses: Post-secondary tuition, hotel rooms
Email us or text/call 902-422-3157 for more information, to arrange to pick up a food hamper/other supplies, or to apply for emergency funds.

Counseling & Music Therapy with Yasmin Kawar
Individual Counseling and Music Therapy services are offered at Saint Andrew's United Church by Yasmin Kawar, a Certified Music Therapist (MTA) and Registered Counseling Therapist Candidate (RCT-C).
Yasmin operates independently out of Saint Andrew's and works collaboratively with clients to support their personal goals and well-being. Sessions use verbal processing and music as therapeutic tools to creatively explore challenges, deepen self-understanding, and develop innate resources for healing and personal growth.
Yasmin’s approach to therapy is person-centered, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed. She works with adult individuals with overall mental health concerns as well as addictions and trauma. By considering the intersecting contexts of clients’ lives, Yasmin meets her clients where they are in their life journey to encourage empowered positive change.
