A number of groups and organizations  regularly host their classes and events at Saint Andrew's. In addition to the groups listed below, a class meets twice a week aimed at keeping seniors on the move, and there is a weekly badminton group as well. Reach out if you'd like to get involved!

Halifax Shuurenkan Kendo

Kendo is a traditional Japanese form of fencing which is growing in popularity across the globe.

Halifax Shuurenkan Kendo meets at Saint Andrews on Wednesdays and Sundays.

YMCA Forever Fit (55+)

Brought to you by the YMCA of Greater Halifax/Dartmouth, Forever Fit classes are led by qualified YMCA fitness instructors and set to lively music.

Each session is made up of four parts which focus on improving participants’ aerobic fitness, balance, strength and flexibility:

- Warm up
- Low impact aerobics
- Muscular strength and endurance
- Stretching and relaxation


Forever Fit meets at Saint Andrews on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Join Cia on Tuesdays and Thursdays for a gentle Hatha and Flow Yoga class - designed for adults of all ages and skill levels!
