Kristen Martell is an acoustic folk/pop artist from the shores of Nova Scotia. Her hazy, sun-dappled songs explore the self and the way we walk through life. With her debut album ‘Coming Home’ (April 2020) nominated for the 2021 ECMA Inspirational Recording of the year and two Music Nova Scotia awards, Kristen Martell is set to release new collaborative music with award-winning producer Daniel Ledwell and award-winning artist, Gabrielle Papillon. She is not to be missed.

Singer-songwriter Mike McKenna Jr. has emerged on the Canadian music scene with a raspy, soulful, intimate voice, his distinct indie folk/Americana tones, and songs laden with captivating storytelling. Originally from Cape Breton Island, he continues to bring us the nostalgia of his home through carefully chosen narrative, poetry, protest, and true stories about life and death in Nova Scotia’s coastal, working-class communities. Mike McKenna Jr will be joined by special guest ECMA nominated artist and fellow Caper Bretoner Leona Burkey.

Join Caroline Marie Brooks (⅓ of Good Lovelies) and Ben Kunder as they perform a very special double bill show in Halifax as part of their 2023 East Coast Tour. There’s a wall in your family home. It’s next to an old stairway that leads to an attic you never go into, but the wall is alive and lined with photos. Caroline Marie Brooks and Ben Kunder will take down those photos, carefully dust them off and sing their vivid stories.
